ABOUT US: Recreo

Recreo is a student led project ran by members of Enactus Plymouth and was established in 2015. Recreo provides a course where employability skills such as CV building and interview skills are taught and practiced, with the help of a qualified teacher.

As well as the course, Recreo offers a mentoring scheme whereby each beneficiary will work one on one with a member of Recreo, allowing a greater understanding of the course as well as serving as a personal aid who will work tirelessly with them to help with any questions they may have about the course or any help they may need gaining employment.

Over the last 3 years Recreo has been working diligently with the refugee and asylum seeker community within Plymouth and continues to do so to this date. However due to popular demand we have decided to expand into also helping the young adult population of Plymouth, on a new course tailored specifically towards young adults.

Both courses develop employability skills, with the help of the mentoring scheme we also believe soft skills will be developed and enhanced hopefully leading to employment or work experience at the end of the course.
